We are aware of a current conflict between AT&T Wi-Fi and the DuckDuckGo VPN, which results in all internet signal being lost when the VPN is connected. Although we have yet to fully diagnose the trouble, it’s possible that AT&T’s ActiveArmor service (free and premium) may play a role.
For now, we recommend disabling ActiveArmor and you can do that by following these steps:
- Open the AT&T SmartHomeManager app
- Click on the person icon in the bottom right corner
- Click AT&T Internet (you may see a number after this, such as 500 or 1000)
- Click AT&T ActiveArmor
- Click Cancel my service
I have a question not covered here, how can I get help?
Please contact support via our subscriber support form. We use Zendesk, a third-party customer support platform, to store and facilitate our responses to support requests.
